Review drawings, BIM models, and technical submittals to identify clashes and ensure coordination with structural steel, sprinkler systems, electrical containment, and conveyor installations. Monitor and manage mechanical installation programme to align with sectional handovers and phased warehouse fit-out requirements. Coordinate deliveries and cranage of large mechanical plant, ensuring correct positioning, inspection, and compliance with specifications. Carry out inspections, pressure testing, duct leakage testing, and pre-commissioning checks to ensure systems meet industrial performance standards. We are recruiting for an experienced Remote Control Crane Operator to join our team in a contract role (leading to permanent). Working Monday to Friday 7:30-4:30. Duties & Responsibilities * Operate travelling or stationary overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and materials * Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to instructions * Maintains crane and hoisting mechanism * Inspect crane for defective parts and notify supervisor of any defects or malfunctions * Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times Qualifications/Training * Must have relevant qualification and tickets for this role. Duties & Skills: Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate plan future capacity requirements work under the direction of the warehouse manager to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment maintenance the operation of automated storage and retrieval systems Able to monitor temperature of environment to ensure correct climatic conditions are being controlled. Able to apply suitable protection systems for transit of goods and materials. Have good communication skills and is able to work with bar coding system between suppliers/storage & site. Is able to plan deliveries in line with a programme of works given by site team. Security conscious mentality with high value joinery items being stored. Is flexible in working evenings & weekends as required
