Civil Site Foreman - Water Infrastructure Location: South West We're currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Foreman/Supervisor to support the delivery of water infrastructure projects across the South West. Working on a long-term AMP programme, you will oversee on-site activities across projects including new water mains installation and pumping station construction. This is a key role supporting safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery in live utility environments. You will act as the link between site teams and senior site management, ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, safety standards and project specifications. The Role As Civils Site Foreman, you will coordinate daily site operations and supervise civil engineering works across water infrastructure schemes. Working closely with the Site Manager, engineers and project team, you will ensure works such as pipe laying, excavation, valve installation and reinforced concrete structures are delivered safely and to the required standards. The Site Engineer is responsible on site for other junior engineers and assists in the construction operations. About this Role: Sub Agent is required to work on a freelance/contract basis on a live highways project. We are recruiting for an established Highways contractor, they require a candidate to be involved with a highways improvement contract valued at circa £5m. Working alongside an established site agent. This role will suit a candidate with experience of working with utilities due to the amount of diversion work involved with the scheme. You will be responsible for managing the site works at NIGHT alongside a general foreman/supervisor and your responsibilities will include site briefings, checking and approving RAMs, liaising with Traffic management, induction, ordering materials if required, technical input, end of shift reports, issue and check permits and help manage safety. The works involve the construction of a new lane being constructed on a live roundabout, new signalling, services, road construction. They have several large contracts in the industry working for Gas companies, Oil companies and on Refinery's. They work on specialist pipelines with high pressures and within airports among other specialist areas. They are currently looking fo Foreman with a r a 360 operaor ticket to work on their projects across the UK on several projects. You must be prepared to work away Monday to Friday. The projects you will be working on are MOD pipelines and Oil pipelines running to airports. The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering background within the Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Utilities industry (A construction background is not suitable). You must have a 360 CPCS or NPORS and ideally have experience with pipes. Ideally you will ahev a mate to work with you. You will be paid accommodation costs (£56 per night or hotel & £12.50 per night) and will be given transport.
