The Energy Centre projects have effectively been divided into 3 streams Mechanical, Electrical & Heat Exchange installation which each have a Project Manager in place. The successful candidate will be expected to work with the design team, appointed Project Managers and contractors to successfully deliver the projects.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with design team, Project Managers and sub-contractors and act as an interface between the various Project Managers and ensure seamless flow of information
Support the PM’s and interface with the Project Director through:
Oversee the contracting process with chosen suppliers/contractors/specialists and ensure works are carried out correctly and per contract and relevant specifications.
Managing all aspects of programming or works and monitoring building progress, specified and alternative equipment submittals, compliance with regulations and correlating weekly progress reports.
Ensure Project Managers plan all labour and material requirements in advance, ensuring adequate provisions are always available
Monitor the Project Managers role to ensure the installations are ready for commissioning on the due dates and coordinate commissioning so that no liquidated damages are incurred.
Monitor and manage the Information Required Schedules, Risk Management Logs etc. and coordinate actions
Monitor and manage the delivery program and co-ordinate the delivery requirements to ensure access for contractors.
In conjunction with Project Managers ensure lists of variations are compiled and notifications are communicated to the Project Director to allow them to be issued in accordance with project/contract requirements.
Issue valuations on Project Progress.

Education and experience:
