Sub Agent Major Infrastructure Project North West Wales We are recruiting an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure project in North West Wales. This is a significant heavy civil engineering scheme involving the construction of a 3.4km tunnel beneath the Dwyryd Estuary, two deep shafts, tunnel headhouses and associated major civils works. The project is well into the main construction phase, with tunnelling, shaft construction and major civil engineering works underway, and is due to run until the end of 2027. As Sub Agent, you will take responsibility for managing a section of the works, leading engineers and subcontractors and ensuring delivery is safe, on programme, commercially controlled and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities will include: • Managing works and subcontractors within your area of responsibility • Leading and supporting Section, Site and Graduate Engineers • Producing and maintaining detailed, resourced look-ahead programmes • Monitoring progress against programme and implementing recovery plans where required • Managing plant, labour and material resources • Managing subcontractor performance, progress and variations • Coordinating temporary works documentation, approvals and delivery • Reviewing ITPs, NCRs and other quality documentation • Liaising with the client, designers and third parties • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and project requirements We are looking for an experienced Sub Agent from a heavy civil engineering or major infrastructure background. Experience within tunnelling, utilities, rail or other complex infrastructure projects would be particularly relevant. You will need strong experience managing sections of work, engineers and subcontractors, together with a good understanding of programme, commercial and temporary works requirements. CSCS Management Card required.
