Experience required: Experience working as Supervisor on civil engineering projects including: highways, drainage, RC works etc. Experience supervising civils gangs on projects 500k+. Temporary Works, Streetworks, Confined Spaces and CAT & Genny beneficial Remuneration: A salary of up to 45,000 (Depending on Experience) + package and other excellent benefits included with being an employee of the company. Street Works Gang Operatives - Traffic & Street Ducting PSR Solutions is recruiting a Street Works Gang to deliver traffic management and street ducting works on behalf of our client in Southampton. We seek reliable, skilled operatives and labourers to join a crew working on public highways, utilities, and civil engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Traffic management setup and control : install, monitor and remove temporary traffic systems, signs, cones, and barrier schemes to NRSWA standards. Street ducting and cable duct installation : dig, install, bed and backfill ducts for telecoms and electrical services; joint and protect ducts as required. Site preparation and reinstatement : carry out excavation, granular fill, surfacing, tarmac reinstatement and tidy works to specification. Health and safety compliance : follow method statements, risk assessments and permit-to-work systems; maintain tidy, safe work areas. Plant and hand tool operation : use mini-diggers, compactors, road saws, breakers and general hand tools safely and effectively. Teamwork and reporting : work as part of a gang, report progress and issues to the gang foreman or site supervisor, complete site documentation. Essential Skills and Qualifications NRSWA Street Works units or demonstrable street works experience . Valid CSCS card or equivalent proof of competence. Full UK driving licence (preferred). Working at Height, Manual Handling and First Aid training (desirable). Experience with traffic management equipment and setting up safe working zones . Hours : Typical day shifts, with occasional early starts; overtime and weekend work may be required. Pay : Competitive hourly rate paid weekly, dependent on experience and qualifications.
