Start Date: ASAP Duration: 53 weeks Requirements: CSCS/ECS Site: Commercial Job Spec: Manage the receipt/ logistical distribution to supply chain of MEP materials/ equipment including Booking in deliveries Administer managing of the deliveries with forklift onto each loading bay issuing and recording of 'free issue' materials and equipment to sub-cons. Booking deliveries onto delivery system, through Munnelly Tracking Procured materials accepting collating materials into floors/sections, deliver materials to correct areas on site. Produce handover paperwork and obtain signatures from subcontractor liaison and working closely with the forklift driver. Upload paperwork onto SharePoint/ dalux waste removal and correct disposal in-line with wates protocols. Maintain safe working area and environment. Ganymede is a supplier of qualified, multi-disciplined operatives in the Construction and Rail Industry. We are currently recruiting for Storesperson with Counterbalance FLT (PTS desirable) who share to work in Sheffield area. The is long term position with future opportunities for the right candidates and has competitive market rates.
Duties:
Loading and unloading vans
Driving Fork Truck
Administering and recording of all goods both in and out
Stock take
Effective monitoring of stock requirement and availability, maintaining stock levels as required.
Adhering to quality policies and procedures of the quality system and reporting any non-conformance or quality issues
Delivering materials to various sites
Criteria:
Previous experience where stock control was carried out
Experience in setting up depot / warehouse to receive goods in and out
Knowledge of route management for long term storage and quarantine
Valid RTITB FLT Counterbalance Licence
First Aid Training (advantageous)
Understanding of Risk Assessment
Clean UK Driving Licence
Computer literate and able to communicate at all levels
PTS and rail experience preferable
