My client provides services in buildings maintenance, mechanical and electrical, construction, refurbishment and facilities management for Domestic, Commerical and Industrial clients. We are looking to recruit a New Build Finisher / Mobile Snagger
As a Mobile Snagger / New Build Finisher, you’ll take responsibility for a range of allocated daily tasks within your geographical area, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest possible standards, whilst operating in a professional and friendly manner to deliver high standards of customer service on behalf of the house builders. Some of the main duties as a Mobile Snagger / New Build Finisher will involve:
* Carrying out painting and decorating jobs to a high standard
* Have a understanding of Plumbing, Carpentry and General DIY tasks
* Working to detailed briefs for assigned work
* Taking a hands on approach to a wide variety of jobs including joinery, tiling, patch plastering, labouring, etc.
* Efficiently communicating updates to colleagues and customers
* Completing paperwork daily and submitting electronically
To be considered for this New Build Finisher / Snagger role you will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
* NVQ or City & Guilds trade certificates
* CSCS Card
* Proactive and flexible approach towards tasks
* Professional and diplomatic with a helpful manner and positive can do attitude
* Superb communication and customer facing skills
* Dedication and passion to complete projects within tight deadlines to a high standard
* Possess own hand tools
* Basic IT skills to receive and submit work updates
* Full UK driving licence

The role will require the succesful candidate to work across a number of projects reviewing any defects/snagging works to finished properties. A trade background is a must as the role will require the individual to undertake a number of different tasks including basic joinery and decoration etc. Any M&E work would require organising and management experience would be an advantage as you may have a couple of junior snaggers reporting in.
In order to be succesful for this role you must have the following skills attributes:
- Good communicator with a friendly persona
- CSCS Card
- Trade Background
- Residential Experience
- Good leadership skills
- Organised with a clean and tidy approach
- Full UK Driving License
