Handyman / Skilled Labourer Required We are currently looking for an experienced Handyman / Skilled Labourer to join a project, carrying out filling, making good and general preparation works ahead of painting . The role will involve preparing walls and surfaces, filling holes and imperfections, sanding and ensuring areas are ready for the painters to come in and complete the final finish. Duties: Filling holes, cracks and imperfections Making good walls and surfaces Sanding and preparing areas for painting General snagging and finishing works Supporting the site team with other basic tasks where required Requirements: Previous experience in a Handyman or Skilled Labourer role Experience with filling and making good Good attention to detail CSCS Card Reliable and good timekeeping Own tools and PPE

The successful candidate will be responsible for the practical installation, positioning and adjustment of builders' props under the direction of the Temporary Works Coordinator. This is a hands-on role requiring good practical skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and site procedures. The work covers three floors; however, the role does not involve working at height . Key Responsibilities Assist the Temporary Works Coordinator with the installation of temporary props. Move, position and install adjustable steel/builders' props as instructed. Position props against or beneath structural steelwork in accordance with instructions. Ensure props and associated materials are installed safely and correctly. Report any damaged equipment, incorrect positioning or safety concerns to the TWC/site supervisor. Maintain a clean and organised working area. Work safely around structural steelwork and other construction activities. Follow all site health & safety requirements and wear the required PPE. Cooperate with site management, supervisors and other trades. Carry out other reasonable skilled labouring/handyman duties as required. Candidate Requirements Previous experience as a Skilled Labourer, Handyman, Construction Operative or similar . Good practical/manual skills. Experience with hand tools and basic power tools. Ideally, previous experience with builders' props, propping, temporary works or structural steelwork . Ability to follow instructions accurately and work safely. Physically fit and comfortable handling construction materials. Reliable and available for the full 6-week project. Good awareness of construction-site health & safety.
