An established specialist roofing contractor is looking for an experienced roofing Contracts Managers based in the London region. They work with most Flat Roofing systems delivering high quality and cost-effective design and installation services for the entire roofing envelope.
The Contracts Manager will be required to:
• Supervise directly employed and sub-contract labour.
• Ensure that materials are ordered, and deliveries meet programme requirements.
• Programme works to agreed programme.
• Approve Time Sheets and sub-contract labour invoices.
• Ensure works are installed as per approved working drawings and specification.
• Record compliance with Part L details as applicable.
• RAMS
• Liaise with Company employed subcontractors and ensure work meets our requirements.
• Ensure that the works are carried out safely and in accordance with Company requirements.
• Maintain a good working relationship with both our operatives and the Main Contractor/Client.
• To organise plant, craneage etc to meet programme and cost plan.
• Attend site meetings as required.
About the Candidate:
• Be based in the London area, able to travel south, Surrey, Kent

You will be responsible for the generation of bespoke specifications, thermal calculations and technical drawings, ensuring our projects comply with building regulation, technical support for contractors and the sales team.
You will be required to visit construction sites during the planning stage, construction phase and after the project has been completed to quality check the installation and answer any technical questions our clients or contractors may have.
Skills Required
* Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and oral.
* Good presentation skills.
* A good technical understanding of commercial flat roofing and metal systems, in particular standing seam systems, both in its design, construction, and specification.
* A good understanding of current building regulation for commercial and domestic properties.

* Problem solving ability and to be able to work to time scales.
* Able to work under pressure from a demanding sales force and prioritise work.
