My client is a leading civil engineering contractor currently seeking an experienced Marine Project Manager to support the delivery of a major marine infrastructure project in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join Sizewell C and be involved in marine piling, heavy civils, structural steelwork and precast concrete construction. Accommodation will be covered by the client! Project Manager Responsibilities: Manage allocated sections of work from mobilisation through to final handover. Develop and maintain project programmes, resource plans and construction sequences. Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to achieve project milestones. Ensure works are delivered in accordance with specifications, programme requirements and contractual obligations. Manage subcontractor performance, productivity, quality and safety. Monitor project costs and support commercial reporting, forecasting and budget control. Raise and manage Early Warnings and Compensation Events under NEC contracts. Review and implement RAMS, quality plans and inspection procedures. Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants and key stakeholders. Produce regular progress reports and provide updates on risks, opportunities and project performance. Support project close-out activities including as-built records and handover documentation. Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and best practice across the project. Project Manager Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering, infrastructure or marine construction. Previous experience delivering marine works is essential. Strong understanding of NEC contracts, ideally NEC4 Option C. Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary site teams. Strong planning and programme management capabilities. Commercial awareness with experience in cost control, forecasting and reporting. Good understanding of construction health, safety and environmental requirements. Project Manager Galldris Group Location: Sizewell C, Leiston An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our Sizewell team. To be considered, you will come from a Civil Engineering background. Previous experience in ground works, Tier 1 environment with attention to health, safety, environment and quality. The ideal candidate will have to hold a full UK driving licence. The Project Manager will be responsible to oversee every aspect of the project, including the planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure within agreed timeframes and budgets and in accordance with Galldris Management system and contract requirements. As the Project Manager you will contribute to the achievement of Galldris s safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences. You will provide strong, visible, proactive leadership with regards to health, safety, environment and quality standards. Support and endorse Galldris Behavioural Safety programme and the use of hazard observation reporting (or Customer lead initiatives where required). Ensure that the project team comply with all relevant safe systems of work. The project Manager will establish and implement site systems and controls consistent with Galldris company standards and contract requirements. You will oversee and ensure that the project contract documents are understood and that the contract is being administered correctly. Organisation of resources for the overall control and execution of the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works. Understand programme and ensure good programme management: Short-term planning and communication of programme with the team Correct administration and approval of contract programme and narrative Ensure that contract/key dates, resource requirements, production rates, milestones and targets are established, monitored and controlled.
