Job Title: Water Treatment Service Chemist Location: Coventry, West Midlands Salary/Benefits: 30k - 45k + Training & Benefits We are recruiting on behalf of a leading name within the Water Treatment industry, who have a national presence and excellent reputation. They are seeking a highly experienced and professional Water Treatment Service Chemist, ideally within the Midlands region. Candidates must be proficient in using a test kit on process water systems (cooling towers, closed systems and steam boilers), in addition to holding robust technical knowledge. Our client is able to support training in addition to development into Account Management for the right candidate. Salaries on offer are attractive, and benefits include: company vehicle, fuel card, pension scheme and annual leave allowance. Experience / Qualifications: Track record working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist Robust technical knowledge, including HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines (HTM 0301 knowledge would also be advantageous) Strong communicator Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills It would be advantageous to have experience of managing key client accounts Flexible to travel in line with company needs The Role: Conducting testing and analysis on cooling towers, closed systems and steam boilers Servicing on a variety of systems / components, including: ROs, water softeners and CLO2 units Chemical dosing on systems Calibrating equipment Providing technical advice direct to clients Producing comprehensive technical reports Working to agreed deadlines Maintaining strong relationships with clients Identifying any potential commercial opportunities and reporting into Account Managers / Directors Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.
