A remote working opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer has arisen to take a lead of project work North Tyneside. The role can also be office based if preferred. About the company The company are a well-established multi-disciplinary design consultancy who are a busy and successful business, working across a variety of building sectors throughout the UK delivering world-class design solutions. Role & Responsibilities The role will be working predominately in the public sector for structural assessments, new build and refurbishment design for various structures. This will include but is not limited to: ·Structural assessments of damaged and high risk buildings ·Structural assessments of bridges and civil structures (Desirable but not essential) ·Structural Surveys ·New build structural design for residential, commercial, educational buildings ·refurbishment design of buildings The aim of the role is to service a existing local clients and grow and lead a small team remotely to support clients in the area. The role will be working closely with other teams within the UK which you will be able to lean on for support. Requirements ·BEng, BSc, MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering ·5+ years relevant experience ·Flexible approach to work and able to work as part of a team ·Good presentation, communication, interpersonal and team working skills ·Ability to work effectively under pressure ·ICE/IStructE Chartership preferred but not essential In return and in addition to a competitive salary, car or car allowance and benefits package, there will also be on going support towards chartership if required and your progression within the company. Both working from home and in the office is permitted for this role.
