Building Control Surveyor Bexleyheath and Dartford £48k - £60k DOE A team in the Southeast are looking to add to their well oiled unit. They work collaboratively and while home-based support one another with their work and regularly meet up to keep a real team spirit going. With that in mind and the experience they can offer, this role would suit a qualified or part-qualified surveyor who wants some help with chartership. Since they work so well together and supportively, they are ready to tackle the changing building safety regulations and ensure you have all the training you will need to prove your competence. The work is varied though mostly residential. The area you will cover is lean unlike many other positions in Southeast London and Kent. The managing surveyor will encourage you to build your own relationship with clients and offer the advice you need to ensure building compliance. You will have support where you need it and independence where you feel confident. The role will consist of site surveys and plan checking. If you are from a warranty background, it's the ideal role to make the cross into building control. You will be supported in completing plan checking and advising on some areas of the role which you may be less experienced in. Since the retention rate is high in this team, the Regional Manager is keen to get the right match for you and for them. The culture within the team is cohesive and friendly and that collaborative helpful approach is encouraged with new team members.
