Key Tasks
Collaborate with the Senior DEWALT Academy Training Manager to formulate a training programme aimed at engaging young trade professionals and educational institutions.
Support the conducting of thorough research to understand the demographics, prior knowledge, learning preferences, and specific needs of our target audience. Use surveys, interviews and focus groups to gather detailed insights.
Support the development of appropriate training materials aligned with the strategy and research feedback whether through practical face-to-face sessions, digital modules on our MYTOOLS Training platform, or video content. This will be achieved through working with the Senior DEWALT Academy Training Manager.
Establish relationships with technical colleges to become the power tool trainer of choice for our industry,
Supporting and providing guidance to Trade Schools ensuring they are compliant with ever changing regulations, e.g dust, noise, vibration etc…
The delivery of training to key targeted colleges once the curriculum and training material has been developed. This will be across your region.
Measure all training activity to provide full accountability and ROI.

The Opportunity We have an excellent opportunity for two Assistant Site Managers to work under a Senior Site Manager to deliver a new development of 250 traditional build houses in Whittlesey, Peterborough alongside a Senior Site Manager with a genuine opportunity to step up to Site Manager in 12-18 months. This is a fully partnership development in recognition of the past years market conditions meaning the site is not dependant on plot sales. The successful manager will take this project from groundworks to completion, then move on to the next phase of the development in the same location. What they are looking for The candidate will need be an experienced Assistant Site Manager on site with a background in delivering new build residential schemes managing volume housing schemes with PLC housebuilders or Tier 1 main contractors; be able to manage programmes & budgets, and drive the site through to an exceptional quality finish, managing subcontractors & liaising with internal and external bodies whilst ensuring health & safety is kept to the highest standard. The Company Our client is a successful privately owned residential developer that is cash rich, with extensive funding and investor backing with over 6,000 plots in their land bank aiming to deliver 1,000 units a year over 2 regions based out of one divisional office.
