Associate Director - Cost Management We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Associate Director - Cost Management to join a growing consultancy team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to take a leading role across a diverse portfolio of projects throughout Northern Ireland and the wider island of Ireland. You will work directly with clients, project teams and senior stakeholders across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, residential, infrastructure, public sector, regeneration and mixed-use developments . About You Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or a related discipline. MRICS preferred , although candidates working towards professional qualification will be considered. Strong pre- and post-contract experience. Experience working with construction contracts such as JCT, NEC or similar . Previous consultancy experience is highly desirable. Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills. Proven leadership and team development experience. Excellent commercial, analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience across multiple sectors would be advantageous. Strong Microsoft Office skills; CostX experience is desirable. A track record of business development and developing client relationships. Senior Contracts Advisor required for Construction Reporting to the Commercial and Contracts Lead and will be responsible for managing the pre-construction function while providing support to the wider business. The role focuses on advising the bid and commercial teams, negotiating with clients, and managing the process from tender stage through to contract execution. This is a key role within the company to ensure successful project delivery. Pre-Construction Support Provide timely support to the bid team during the tender process Identify, assess and advise on key risks and opportunities Provide advice and support to the Senior Leadership Team Contract Negotiation Lead and support negotiations with clients across a range of construction contracts Draft, review and amend contract terms Liaise with external stakeholders where required Contract Governance and Execution Manage and oversee the process for contract approval and execution, Ensure final agreed terms are reflected in the documents for execution Maintain accurate records of the process from tender stage to contract execution Non-Disclosure Agreements Draft, review and negotiate NDAs and confidentiality agreements with clients and were required, the Supply Chain Maintain accurate records of all NDAs Key Skills & Experience Law Degree (or equivalent legal qualification) with relevant experience in the construction sector or a Construction/Commercial Professional with demonstrated experience in Construction Contracts, (ideally suited to a Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role) Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts Strong working knowledge of standard form construction contracts (including NEC, JCT, IChemE) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desirable Experience Previous in-house experience is an advantage, but not essential
