BIM Lead Location: City of London Salary: 50,000- 65,000 DOE Working Pattern: 5 days per week in the office An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BIM Lead to join a leading London-based building services contractor. The business has an excellent reputation within the industry and delivers a range of high-profile residential and commercial projects across London. This is a key role within the digital engineering team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of BIM processes and lead the coordination and delivery of complex MEP projects. The Role As BIM Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the BIM process across multiple projects. You will work closely with project teams, design managers, engineers and site teams to ensure models are coordinated, accurate and delivered to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the BIM process across a range of residential and commercial projects. Oversee and support BIM Coordinators and Modellers. Manage the production, coordination and delivery of detailed MEP models . Carry out model reviews, clash detection and coordination using industry-standard software. Work closely with internal design, engineering and construction teams. Ensure BIM standards, processes and project requirements are consistently followed. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other project stakeholders. Provide technical BIM support and guidance to project teams. Help develop and improve BIM workflows and digital engineering processes across the business. About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Strong experience within MEP / Building Services BIM . Previous experience in a BIM Lead, BIM Manager, Senior BIM Coordinator or similar position. A contractor background would be highly advantageous. Strong hands-on experience using Revit and Navisworks. Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical and public health services. Excellent knowledge of BIM coordination, clash detection and model management. Strong communication and leadership skills. BIM Lead London MEP Building Services Competitive Salary + Benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced BIM Lead to join a leading MEP Building Services contractor delivering some of the UK's most prestigious commercial, healthcare, life sciences, data centre and residential developments. This role will see you take ownership of BIM delivery across multiple projects, working closely with Design Managers, Project Managers, consultants and site teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality digital project delivery from pre-construction through to completion. Key Responsibilities Lead the BIM strategy and digital delivery across multiple MEP projects. Manage the production, coordination and review of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health BIM models. Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), project standards and digital workflows. Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure fully integrated building services solutions. Lead clash detection reviews using Navisworks and coordinate design resolution meetings. Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and client BIM requirements. Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) processes and document control procedures. Work closely with Design Managers, Project Managers and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle. Review consultant and subcontractor models to ensure quality, accuracy and buildability. Support project delivery through design coordination, technical reviews and model validation. Mentor and support BIM Coordinators and junior team members. Drive continuous improvement in BIM processes and digital construction methodologies. Requirements Previous experience as a BIM Lead, Senior BIM Coordinator or Digital Construction Manager within an MEP or Building Services contractor. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health building services. Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360. Excellent understanding of ISO 19650, BIM Level 2 and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes. Experience coordinating complex building services projects from design through to construction. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Package Competitive salary.
