Key Account and Project Manager Job Type: Permanent Location: Northern England Home Based - Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Leeds, York, Bradford, Huddersfield, Darlington Salary: 45,000 to 55,000 (depending on relevant experience) + Car/Car Allowance Start Date: ASAP Established firm operating in the professional kitchens sector require an experienced Key Account and Project Manager to undertake a dual role. You will act as the point of contact for established clients from both a sales and project management perspective. You will work on the sales, design and installation of commercial / professional kitchens in restaurants and hotels across the North West, North East and Scotland. It is expected that anyone with this background will have a thorough knowledge of M&E as well as a solid working knowledge of Health and Safety. Your role will involve; Key Account Manager Duties Act as the main contact point for strategic, high-value clients. Build deep trust and long-lasting partnerships with decision-makers. Understand client goals, challenges, and long-term business needs. Identify and pitch up-selling and cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue. Develop strategic account plans to hit sales and retention targets. Negotiate contracts and close commercial agreements with key buyers. Project Manager Duties Checking of equipment specifications, design and services drawings, and equipment purchase orders. Approval of specialist contractors' manufacturing drawings. Handling of any design or equipment variations and extras. Attendance at all necessary site meetings, in person where needed or on Teams / Zoom Producing or coordination of relevant risk assessments and method statements. Carrying out surveys and site dimensions of all relevant working areas, checking site access and continually checking on progress of the construction site prior to delivery of any of the catering equipment package. Supervising the installation and commissioning of kitchen and servery equipment. Drawing up of snags & defects lists and ensuring a speedy and satisfactory completion. Detailed checking of Job Costings and addressing any variations with suppliers, reaching a rapid and satisfactory resolution. The role will suit individuals currently working as Key Account and Project Manager, Sales Manager, Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, Commercial Manager, Senior Estimator and be living within a commutable distance of Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Northumberland, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Darlington, Leeds, Bradford, York, Huddersfield, Manchester, Sheffield, Hull, Doncaster or be willing to relocate.

Senior Estimator with an understanding of the public funded sector A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Estimator to represent our client, a 180m turnover main contractor based in London. The contractor specialises within both the private and public funded sectors involving new build and refurbishment schemes. Established 30 years ago, our client's business model is extremely well managed, with a reputation for producing a quality project on time and budget, which results in a large amount of repeat business. Their future business plans are to grow the company and they now feel the time is right to engage a talented and successful Senior Estimator to assist them in their expansion plans. Ideally the Senior Estimator will be experienced within the public funded sector, managing their frameworks and ensuring all tenders are accurate and submitted in a timely manner Principle Duties & Accountabilities To effectively and professionally carry out Estimating duties including preparation of bids, as defined by the policies and procedures of the Company and the Estimating Department, in order to produce a cost effective, timely, and professional product to the satisfaction of the client and senior management team. Bidding To review bid documentation in detail, and jointly with other members decide upon, and subsequently action, a tender strategy Manage and be able to undertake estimating from first principles as required. To prepare the documentation for and to assist in guiding tenders through the Company approvals process, including attending meetings and presenting the bid information for review To assist in the production and pricing of risk registers for bids Liaise with Production team to produce priced prelims for the tender To join with others within the company to actively review products, methods and procedures to achieve continuous improvement The Senior Estimator must have a main contracting background, with experience of producing tenders within a framework (public funded) environment. Knowledge of both new build and refurbishment projects and be familiar with computerised estimating. A relevant qualification is also required.
