Attend project meetings with Clients and other Design Team Members, Contractors etc. Carry out condition surveys, feasibility studies, report writing etc. Carry out site surveys for projects, to obtain all relevant information required for carrying out scheme design. Carry out detailed scheme designs enabling competitive tenders to be obtained for the works. Write specifications for the works. Correspond with other design team members and the client on technical issues. Carry out calculations, both manual and by using computer-based systems. Experience Required Building Services Degree, Electrical Design Degree or other related higher educational qualification (HNC/HND) Preferably chartered or working towards chartership. Experience within a building services design role in a consultancy environment. Experience is likely to be of 3 - 5 years and include calculations, drawings, specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a key role in the design and delivery of complex MEP projects across a range of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, residential, industrial, and data centres. You will be responsible for leading electrical design activities from concept through to construction, working closely with clients, consultants, project teams, and supply chain partners to deliver innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions.
