My client is a World leading Construction Company. They are presently delivering important upgrade and improvement works to a major Water Network in Southern England. They are currently looking to recruit experienced Site Agents and Project Managers with a strong background in the Water / Waste Water sectors. You will take full responsibility for the delivery of small to medium projects in a stand-alone capacity or working with a Contract Manager on one of the larger schemes. You will be responsible for co-ordination of subcontractors and site management functions allocated by the Project Manager, during site occupancy. You will ensure site safety is maintained in line with company standards. Ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining and maximising quality of service and profitability will be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: * To direct the necessary labour, plant, staff and equipment to achieve completion on time, to specification and within budget. * To programme works in conjunction with nominated contractor and provide short term and as built programmes as required. * Liaise with the design team to ensure the design deliverables are received in time for efficient delivery of the site works * Monitor that the Buying team and Surveying department order the correct materials and sub-contract services in good time to meet contract objectives. * Manage site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating any necessary corrective actions. * Ensure compliance with Safety Policy and Health and Safety Regulations. Ensure subcontractors comply with the company’s standards. Experience and Qualifications: * Minimum of HNC / HND in Civil Engineering or another relevant subject matter. * Career pathway of Engineer (setting out) to Senior / Section Engineer (supervisory and technical role) to Sub Agent to Site Agent. * Must have Civil Engineering experience gained with a civil engineering main contractor rather than a sub-contractor (UK or overseas) * Proven experience of working within Water / Wastewater, and experience of managing Civil and MEICA interfaces and contractors Must have following training/competencies: * CSCS Managers Category * SMSTS * First Aid Trained

Due to an influx of work on a major framework in Southern England, they are looking to recruit Engineers on a permanent basis to work on projects within a 25 mile radius of Portsmouth and covering the counties of Hampshire and West Sussex Key Duties include: •Establish and promote best practice in health, safety and environmental matters in conjunction with the SHQE department. •Where required supervision of assistant engineers and junior engineers. •Accurate setting out of the works and dimensional control. •Resolving technical problems at all levels. •Carry out inspections in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan in a timely manner. •The production of survey information and red – lined drawings for the completion of the As-built records. •Ensuring activities are carried out in safe manner in accordance with the Project Safety Plan. •Accurate maintenance of Quality Management System records. •Ensure equipment is calibrated, in date and suitable checked in accordance with company policies and the manufacturers’ defined requirements. •Ensure the site diary is accurately maintained noting against each record the date, location and serial number of equipment used. •Makes sure that only competent personnel are used to carry out the Works. Policies the outputs to confirm that the required level of quality is maintained. •Co-ordination and supervision of Sub-contractors in the performance of the Works. •Informing senior management of any non-conformances or poor workmanship. •Ensure all site personnel have clear, accurate and appropriate information to carry out their duties. •Minimises environmental disturbance during construction works. •Supervises the outputs and confirms that the project environmental requirements are met. •Close liaison with the Site Foreman and Works Managers. •Ensure all materials on site are suitable and to contract specification •Assist the Site Management team to update KPI’s, material reconciliation and progress reports. Qualifications required; *Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Civil Engineering or another relevant subject matter *Ideally two years of UK site based experience for Site Enginneers although site based graduates wll also be considered. *CSCS Supervisory Card Package; *Competitive basic salary *Car / Car Allowance *Pension scheme *Private Healthcare *Annual Bonus
