My client is a World leading Construction Company. They are presently delivering important upgrade and improvement works to a major Water Network in Southern England. They are currently looking to recruit experienced Site Agents and Project Managers with a strong background in the Water / Waste Water sectors. You will take full responsibility for the delivery of small to medium projects in a stand-alone capacity or working with a Contract Manager on one of the larger schemes. You will be responsible for co-ordination of subcontractors and site management functions allocated by the Project Manager, during site occupancy. You will ensure site safety is maintained in line with company standards. Ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining and maximising quality of service and profitability will be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: * To direct the necessary labour, plant, staff and equipment to achieve completion on time, to specification and within budget. * To programme works in conjunction with nominated contractor and provide short term and as built programmes as required. * Liaise with the design team to ensure the design deliverables are received in time for efficient delivery of the site works * Monitor that the Buying team and Surveying department order the correct materials and sub-contract services in good time to meet contract objectives. * Manage site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating any necessary corrective actions. * Ensure compliance with Safety Policy and Health and Safety Regulations.
