Site Manager - Civil Engineering (Hydroelectric Dam Repairs) Location : PA33 1AH, Scotland Rate: £425-£475 per day (Ltd) Contract Length: Immediate Start 5-6 weeks (with potential for extension) Sector: Infrastructure / Heavy Civil / Energy Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee reinforced concrete repair works on a hydroelectric dam in Scotland. This is a short-term contract with a reputable construction management team, offering competitive day rates and the opportunity to work on a high-impact energy infrastructure project. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate subcontractors carrying out reinforced concrete repairs. Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. Manage site logistics, access, and daily operations. Monitor quality assurance and compliance with health & safety regulations. Liaise with the Construction Manager and other stakeholders to report progress and resolve issues. Maintain accurate site records and daily reports. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects, ideally involving concrete structures or dam infrastructure. Strong understanding of reinforced concrete repair techniques and relevant standards. SMSTS or SSSTS certification. Valid CSCS card. First Aid at Work certification (preferred). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple subcontractor teams.
