Key Responsibilities Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings and specifications Taking off quantities from drawings Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations Supporting commercial documentation and bid submissions Maintaining well-organised project and tender records Conducting research to support pricing and technical understanding Essential Requirements Minimum GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above), plus other subjects Experience working within the UK construction industry Office-based experience Ability to read and understand construction drawings Full clean UK driving licence and own transport Strong critical thinking ability High level of attention to detail Good organisational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Preferred Qualifications & Experience A-Levels (or equivalent) in Maths, Science, Humanities, or Construction-related subjects Degree in a construction-related discipline 1-2 years' experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in the UK Experience using measurement software (e.g. Quickscale, Bluebeam, AutoCAD) Strong research and comprehension skills Experience in commercial, education (schools), healthcare, high-end residential or modular construction Experience working for a main contractor (preferred) Why Join Us?
