Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (6-month FTC) Location: Midlands Sector: Modular Construction Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance & Package Are you a Quantity Surveyor with a residential background? Would you enjoy working with a large, national contractor who are in a substantial growth phase? You will be joining an established commercial team overseeing developments of £1m-£20m in value. This well capitalised business is changing the face of the housing sector using advanced DfMA led methodologies to build better and build faster. Your background in residential development will be essential in the selection and management of sub-contractors and CVR administration. This role sits in the middle of the existing commercial team which will enable you to transition into the role seamlessly. One of the UK’s leading, specialist building envelope contractors are seeking a QS with at least: 3 years of experience, experience in the building envelope sector, experience working for a specialist or sub-contractor They undertake projects in a range of sectors including commercial, residential, retail and healthcare. Experience on these types of projects would be a bonus but the main thing we are seeking is QS with a solid track record in the building envelope sector. The role will mainly be site based in Coventry city centre and the were will be occasional trips to head office based in Cheshire. With a huge pipeline filled with some of the largest bespoke building envelope projects it’s a great opportunity to gain valuable experience as the role is likely to exceed the 9-12 month FTC for the right candidate.
