We have a position for a H&S Manager for a main contractor to cover MOJ projects around the South Region (London and Midlands), the ideal candidate will be based down South (London / Surrey) to cover projects in the South and will be expected to be at locations 3/4 days a week with 1 day working from home. All expenses will be covered. Projects - MOJ / Prison refurbishment and build projects. The candidate needs to be a strong communicator rather than a 'safety policeman' with the ability to coach and mentor specifically following Audits. A strong generalist is preferred, possibly an Advisor looking for the next step. The candidate must be NEBOSH Diploma qualified as a minimum and a CMIOSH , or similar / close too for exceptional candidates. This is a temp to perm role. Current security clearance - EL1. SC, DV clearance would be ideal, however, our client will be applying for this clearance for the candidate.

A large FM and Maintenance contractor who runs the contract for the MOJ to maintain the prison estate has an exciting opportunity.For a Project Manager to join the team covering the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile scheme involving fire safety upgrades, window replacement, and refurbishment works within a secure Ministry of Justice environment. The Role As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with all prison security procedures. Key Responsibilities Overall management of site operations from inception through to completion. Deliver fire safety improvement works, refurbishment, and window replacement packages. Manage programme, budgets, subcontractors, and site teams. Ensure all health & safety legislation and company procedures are adhered to. Liaise with the client, design teams, and key stakeholders. Produce progress reports and attend regular project meetings. Ensure works are completed to the highest quality standards while maintaining programme. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates. Ability to obtain or already hold the necessary security clearance for prison projects.
