Job Title: Project Manager - Commercial Cut & Carve Refurbishment Location: Plymouth, Devon Sector: Tier 1 Main Contracting Start Date: Immediate Salary: Excellent competitive package + car allowance + bonus The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a privately owned, multi-billion-pound Tier 1 main contractor renowned for its incredible financial stability (zero debt) and family-first culture. They have just secured a high-profile, complex commercial office refurbishment in Plymouth and require a standalone Project Manager to take the reins immediately. The Role & Project This is a major "cut and carve" scheme requiring extensive structural modifications, heavy service integration, and a high-spec architectural finish. You will have total operational control of the site, leading the management team, managing high-value sub-contractors, and acting as the primary point of contact for the client and design teams. Essential Requirements Strict Criteria: You must have proven experience delivering structural refurbishments. Proven Cut & Carve Experience: A track record as lead PM on complex structural refurbishments (e.g., heavy temporary works, structural alterations, core removals). Tier 1/2 Main Contractor Background: Experience leading projects valued at 10m- 30m+. Credentials: SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid, and ideally a relevant construction degree or MCIOB.
