I'm currently recruiting for a Sub Agent to join the delivery team on a major highways and infrastructure project in Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract through to the end of 2027 , working on a significant civil engineering scheme with a leading contractor. The Role Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Agent, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of a major highways and infrastructure project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the engineering and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Support the successful delivery of major civil engineering projects. Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget. Liaise with clients, designers and key stakeholders. Monitor progress and identify project risks and opportunities. Maintain accurate site records and reporting. Ensure Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards are maintained. Support planning, programming and project delivery. Requirement To be considered you'll ideally have: Previous experience as a Sub Agent within civil engineering. Highways and infrastructure experience. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Commercial awareness. Experience managing site teams and subcontractors. SMSTS. CSCS Card. Full UK Driving Licence.
