The Role
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead all pre-contract activities and ensure the successful transition of projects from client instruction through to contract execution. This is a pivotal role within TG Escapes, focused on securing viable, profitable projects while coordinating internal teams, consultants, and clients.
This role is office-based at our Coventry Head Office, therefore candidates must be within a commutable distance, although flexible/hybrid working may be available for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction Leadership
Act as the primary point of contact during the pre-construction phase for clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
Lead internal pre-construction meetings, tracking actions, risks, and programme milestones.

Liaise with the commercial team on cost plans, estimates, and tender submissions.
Review subcontractor, consultant, and supplier quotations.
Challenge assumptions, value-engineer solutions, and mitigate commercial risk.
Support preparation of tender bids, proposals, and client presentations.
Programme Development
Establish preliminary design and manufacturing programmes aligned with TG Escapes’ build solutions.
Identify critical path items, procurement lead times, and efficiencies.

Risk Management & Compliance

Well-established, small building contractor based in East London, delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across London and the surrounding areas require an experienced Quantity surveyor to join their team and play a key role in the commercial management of their projects. Reporting to the Directors, you will take full commercial responsibility for 3-4 projects from pre-construction through to final account. This is a hands-on role offering real autonomy and the opportunity to influence commercial strategy within a growing business.
