I am currently recruiting for an experienced Principal Engineer to join a company in the Berkshire area, the most succeesful individual will be joining a leading firm of consulting engineers. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Engineer ideally with 10 years + experience and also ideally previous experience in Flood Risk Assements, Hydraulic Modelling and Drainage strategies and design. The ideal Principal Engineer will be working on projects and helping to lead these whilst supervising staff and interfacing with clients and external bodies (Water Companies, EA, LPAs, LLFA's). The most successful individual for this role will have previous experience of working on related software such as Microdrainage, Floodmodellerpro, AutoCAD and 3D Models (PDS or similar). The Princapal Engineer will have a thorough understanding of the Floor and Water Management Act and ideally be familiar with latest NTS guidance and planning policy (NPPF). It would be highly advantageous if this individual was working towards a professional status, the company themselves provide support with and encourage CPD. This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Engineer who is enthusiastic and career minded to join a growing company and contribute towards the companies Business Development and ideally progress into a Senior Management role. Principal Engineer Position Overview * Working on projects whilst leading and supervising staff * Interfacing with Clients and external bodies * Working on computer aided software such as Microdrainage, Floodmodellerpro, AutoCAD etc. * Working alongside the Floor and Water Management act * Progress into a Senior Management role. Principal Engineer Position Requirements * Must be a driver with a full License * 10 years or more experience * Ideally working towards a professional status * Ambitious and willing to progress into a Senior Management Role * Living in the Berkshire area. Principal Engineer Position Remuneration * Salary: £47,500+ ( this is negotiable and based upon experience) * Pension * Eligibility for Bonuses * 25 Days annual leave + BH * Professional Subscriptions paid * Career Progression * Company Benefits.
