You will be responsible for operating Impact Protection Vehicles (IPVs) in support of temporary traffic management operations while ensuring the safety of road users and colleagues at all times. Support temporary traffic management operations in accordance with NHSS requirements. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects immediately. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures. Assist Traffic Management crews with the installation, maintenance and removal of traffic management systems when required. Maintain accurate records, driver checks and daily paperwork. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients and other team members. Attend emergency call-outs and work flexible hours including nights and weekends where required. Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times. Undertake any other duties as directed by management. Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time. Ensure vehicle checks are completed before and after every shift. Report incidents, near misses and defects immediately. Maintain company equipment and vehicles to a high standard.
