This role will involve reporting to an Associate Director and/or a Senior Transport Planner who will handle day-to-day management of projects including Client and Local Authority liaison and delegation of tasks to junior staff to ensure the meeting of relevant deadlines. As the Senior Transport Planner, you will be expected to be comfortable working both alone and as part of a team to ensure the timely completion of project deliverable to a high standard. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum requirement of first degree or demonstration of equivalent industry experience. Technical Skills Required: Drafting typical Transport Reports including Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, and Travel Plans. Competent with software such ARCADY, PICADY (Junctions 10 software) and familiar with LINSIG. Familiar with industry standard applications such as TRICS. Experienced using AutoCAD and, ideally, vehicle tracking software. Able to critique development layouts in relation to access, parking and transport facilities. Able to undertake concept highway design, ideally using AutoCAD. Able to analyse various survey data sets in a report format. KNOWLEDGE: Practical understanding of the transport development planning process in the UK. Familiar with local and national highway design guidance for developments including DMRB and MfS.

Civils Works Manager Permanent Location - Devon/ Cornwall Civil Works Manager Role Overview: An opportunity has arisen for Civils Works Manager. Reporting to the Delivery/Contract Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of Projects alongside the Project Manager and Project Team to deliver. A safe working sites Programme compilation/updates with planners Review of designs prior to construction Site checks of construction Procurement of materials Liaison with the commercial team Client facing site meetings and Microsoft Teams calls Compilation of inspection and test plans Compilation and checking/updating of project management plans Compilation and checking/updating of environmental plans Key Responsibilities: Managing a skilled and highly motivated Civils Team, dealing with daily and forever changing challenges in the workplace on multiple sites and liaising with clients and divisions to support the teams to deliver projects on time / on budget and to required standards. Ordering and purchasing of materials and logistical planning. Daily briefings, RAMS and control measures to be put into place so the Teams work safely and efficiently. Guiding the business in an integrated and collaborative manner through the civils phase of projects. Experience and Qualifications: A proven track record in the civil engineering industry - Reinforced concrete, Deep drainage, Earth removal etc. Management experience Dealing with operational Teams at all levels.
