This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term major tier 1 EPC project supporting the safe delivery of major onshore and offshore construction activities as part of one of the first UK Carbon Capture & Storage developments. Working alongside the Field HSE Manager, you will play a key role in driving a strong safety culture across this carbon capture project, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, company procedures and project requirements throughout the construction phase. Responsibilities Drive HSE awareness through workforce engagement, coaching and training. Carry out site HSE inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and legislation. Monitor subcontractor HSE performance and equipment compliance. Support HSE risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and safe systems of work. Oversee Permit to Work activities and hazardous material controls. Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, implementing HSE corrective actions. Monitor and report HSE KPIs and project performance. Deliver toolbox talks and promote a positive safety culture across site. Ensure HSE environmental compliance and support sustainable working practices. Support the wider HSE team throughout the delivery of this major energy infrastructure project. Requirements Must have HSE Advisor experience working on full life cycle Construction projects such as; Energy from Waste, Recovery Facilities, Nuclear New Build, or preferred in Oil & Gas related projects. Offshore project experience is an advantage, but not essential. Strong knowledge of activities in construction design regulation management and survey/investigation. Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification, or an engineering-related field. ISO45001 Lead Auditor Certification Other: Must have existing right to live and work in the UK without a visa sponsorship restriction. Limited company contractors considered only - support to set this up can be offered. Key skills Oversee piping works package on site, in accordance with the Site Delivery Operating Model's Supervisor Accountability Model . Drive subcontractor productivity and maintain direct control of daily delivery . Escalate in real time where: Programme dates are at risk. Safety or quality is compromised. Subcontractor performance falls short of expectations. Interface conflicts remain unresolved. Execute the daily control cycle for the piping package. Act as first-line technical and IR point of contact for piping subcontractor operatives. Escalate issues through the Package Manager to the Discipline Manager and Construction Manager , as required. Candidates must hold SSSTS / SMSTS Card. Candidates must have relevant experience as an Piping Lead/Supervisor in the Energy from Waste / similar sector. There will be 10-12 workers associated with the subcontractors, which will be under your supervision. You must be within commutable distance to Bracknell. Client Our client are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Mainland Europe, the Nordics and the UK. They are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation. Role Work is subcontracted out so we need the Supervisor to have experience managing subcontractors Must have good technical documentation knowledge Requirements Must have data centre experience Must have 5 years experience in a supervisory role Must be local enough to commute Conditions 30 p/hr gross 6 month rolling contract 40-50 hours per week
