We are seeking Supervisors who have prior steam installation experience having worked directly for a Tier 1 M&E Contractors. Job Purpose: The responsibilities of this Mechanical Site Supervisor role include overseeing mechanical work and site trades, scoping work and ordering materials, issuing permits and ensuring safety rules are followed. Role: Co-ordination of the installation. Supervising Contractors and Subcontractors, ensuring all direct staff and Subcontractors are adequately trained and adhering to H&S procedures. Conducting toolbox talks, ordering materials, completing schedules of work, scheduling materials to ensure programme of works delivered. Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead the mechanical delivery of major stadium infrastructure upgrades. The role will focus on the installation of new water infrastructure, plant equipment, booster sets, storage tanks, water heaters and associated pipework systems. Particular emphasis will be placed on managing the interface between new and existing services within a live operational stadium environment. The successful candidate will provide on-site leadership, coordinate subcontractors and ensure safe, efficient delivery from installation through to commissioning and handover. Key Responsibilities Manage all mechanical construction activities on site. Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and labour teams. Essential Experience Previous experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager, Mechanical Site Manager or Senior Mechanical Supervisor. Strong building services and mechanical infrastructure background. Experience delivering plantroom and water infrastructure projects. Knowledge of pipework systems, tanks, pumps and water services. Experience working within occupied or operational environments. Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery. We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to start on an immediate basis for an established contractor on a new build hospital project in Cardiff. The day rate will be 300 per day. The length of the contract will be 12 months. Shift Times are 8am-5pm. Parking is available on site. You will be responsible for the below duties on a day-to-day basis ; Build and develop the team to deliver all aspects of the project requirements. Motivate the site team to reach daily and weekly targets.
