A vacancy exists for an Architectural Assistant, working for a London based, award winning, top AJ100 practice. They operate over a broad range of sectors and this role sits in their residential team. There would however be the opportunity to work on projects in other sectors further down the line. The role would suit either a Part II qualified Architectural Assistant or a CIAT qualified Technologist. Initially you will be working on a new project the practice has just one which is a London based, high density, 82 unit apartment development. This is a great opportunity to see this project through its lifecycle and the exposure you will receive will provide valuable career development experience. The practice uses Revit and they require previous experience using this package. You must also have experience or a keen interest in residential development of this type. A medium sized practice, specialising in the prime residential and luxury architectural sector has a vacancy for an Architectural Assistant (Part II). Reporting to a Project Architect and Partners, you will assist with the design and delivery of very high-quality projects. You will take ownership of discrete elements and occasionally full ownership of smaller projects. The ideal candidate will have worked on luxury projects, ideally in the residential or retail sectors. Experience working across all stages is required including NBS specification writing. A strong understanding of the UK building and CDM regulations is highly advantageous. The practice uses ArchiCad and a working knowledge of this package is required.
