Wet Trade Multi-Skilled Trades Location: Essex Salary: Up to 38,325 per annum Contract: Full Time, Permanent The Opportunity An established maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Wet Trade Multi-Skilled Operative to join its team delivering repairs and maintenance to residential properties across Essex. This is a varied role suited to someone with a strong background in plastering who is also confident carrying out a range of additional trade tasks. Working in occupied homes, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs while providing excellent customer service. Main Duties Complete plastering works including skimming, patch repairs, rendering, screeding and general making good. Undertake a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including: Basic carpentry Minor plumbing repairs Wall and floor tiling Internal painting and decorating Carry out repairs safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Update job information electronically using a handheld device. Ensure work is completed within agreed timescales and in line with company standards. Essential Skills & Experience NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plastering or a relevant construction trade. Strong practical experience in plastering, rendering, screeding and associated wet trades. Competent in carrying out a range of general maintenance tasks across different trades. Previous experience working within residential repairs, maintenance or social housing is desirable. Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation. Full UK driving licence. Workshop Recruitment are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative to join a well-established property maintenance organisation in the Fareham area. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance across domestic and commercial properties. You will use your carpentry skills alongside experience in plumbing, bathroom fitting, kitchen installation and general maintenance, painting & decorating, tiling, among other tasks.
