Were Hiring Paint Inspector Bristol Denholm Industrial Services is currently recruiting for an experienced Paint Inspector to join our team on a major industrial project in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a leading industrial services provider. The initial duration is at least 6 weeks, with the potential to extend to 3 months. Key Responsibilities Inspect surface preparation activities including abrasive blasting, power tool cleaning and other preparation methods. Carry out inspections of prepared substrates to ensure cleanliness, profile depth and compliance with project specifications. Monitor coating application processes, ensuring correct materials, mixing ratios, application methods and dry film thickness requirements are achieved. Review coating systems, technical data sheets and project specifications to ensure compliance. Complete accurate inspection reports, quality records and project documentation. Liaise with site teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project. What We're Looking For NACE or ICorr Paint Inspection Qualification (Essential) Valid CSCS Card (Essential) Safety Critical Medical (Advantageous) Previous experience working as a Paint Inspector on industrial, marine or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of protective coatings, inspection techniques and quality standards. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Rates 280 per day 50 per night accommodation allowance Mileage allowance from your home address to site (subject to travel distance) Details Monday to Friday - 8 hours per day Pre-Employment Requirements Successful applicants will be required to complete: Drug & alcohol testing as part of induction Online company inductions Why Join Denholm Industrial Services? Conduct visual inspections and quality assurance checks throughout each stage of the coating process. Record inspection results and complete quality documentation accurately. Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Liaise with Supervisors, Project Managers and client representatives. Monitor compliance with approved coating systems and application procedures. Ensure inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated where required. Support site teams in maintaining high quality standards. Promote compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) procedures. Assist with audits, client inspections and quality reviews. Produce inspection reports and maintain project quality records. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a Quality Control or Paint Inspection role. Experience within marine, defence, industrial or heavy engineering environments. Strong knowledge of industrial painting, surface preparation and protective coatings. Ability to interpret coating specifications and inspection requirements. Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills. Good communication and organisational skills. NACE or ICorr is essential Right to work in the UK Candidates must be eligible to obtain BPSS security clearance. As a minimum, this includes providing a criminal record check, right to work documentation, three years' employment history and five years' address history. Candidates must also be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.
