About the Role As a Non-working Supervisor - Groundworks and Highways, you will oversee multiple live projects, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the required standard. This is a non-working supervisory role, with responsibility for monitoring site activities, supporting site teams and maintaining communication between sites and the office. Key responsibilities include: Visiting multiple live sites throughout the working week Supervising groundworks, highways, drainage and tarmac final surfacing operations Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures Identifying site issues and helping teams resolve them quickly and effectively Carrying out quality, safety and progress inspections Reporting progress, updates and any concerns back to the office Liaising with site operatives, management and clients where required Promoting high standards of health and safety across all projects Supporting the successful delivery of projects valued up to 500,000 The successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience within groundworks, highways or civil engineering, together with strong knowledge of road construction, drainage and asphalt surfacing. You will be organised, proactive and confident managing multiple sites while building positive relationships with site teams.
