We're looking for a Multi-skilled and enthusiastic tradesperson able to deliver a first class repairs service across a variety of our properties in the North London regions, covering North/ East London and parts of Watford With a relevant qualification in your primary trade as a carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting and decorating and tiling and one or more secondary trades you will have good customer care and admin skills and enjoy working with people and finding solutions to problems. You will be required to carry out the full range of general maintenance and new installation work to occupied and vacant properties whilst ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times. You'll be given protective clothing, a van to get you there as well as the specialist power tools you'll need. They have a full order book and are expanding around the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Site Supervisor to work alongside the Site Manager. Skills & Responsibilities: * Liaise with clients and develop good business relationships * Ensure a steady flow of work is issued by the client(s) to maintain the site resource levels * Survey potential works and submit reports to the commercial department for pricing * Plan and be responsible for and co-ordinate site work in accordance with the instructions of the client and their Contracts Manager. Prepare the associated Site Works Plan(s) / Project Management Plan(s) * Organise and deliver associated pre-start briefings and ongoing toolbox talks, and be able to complete and submit the associated paperwork * Deliver in accordance with the programme for the site works and keep the Contracts Manager updated on progress * Complete all necessary documentation to allow works to start, i.e. ‘Site Specific Risk Assessment’, etc. * Deliver general toolbox talk training sessions and method statement briefings, and complete the associated paperwork * Manage all sub-contractors and site visitors and ensure their safety during works Experience * Experience in Roofing essential. * Multi skilled in all aspects of building/infrastructure * First Aid * Full clean driving licence * An understanding of relevant health & safety legislation * CSCS Supervisor Card * SSSTS * Good computer skills * Professional attitude and ability to operate without supervision * Capable of teaching and developing operatives
