REVIT MEP Engineer, Building Services, East Midlands, Derby GD 793 REVIT MEP Engineer, Building Services, East Midlands, Derby £20-25K, THE COMPANY: This company is a Plumbing and Heating Contractor based in Derby. They have been established for over 40 years and in that time, have grown from strength to strength, building a skilled team, perfecting their service offerings to clients and enhancing their reputation within the marketplace. They provide Plumbing and Heating services, AC and Ventilation, Gas, Renewables and Underfloor heating throughout the UK for a number of blue chip clients. THE ROLE: As a REVIT MEP Engineer, your role will require you to develop working drawings for Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services, including: Small power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, Ventilation, Heating and Water. Tasks will further include the setting up of Revit and CAD projects and producing in Revit, fully coordinated models from engineers’ sketches, and attending BIM/ Clash detection workshops. THE PERSON: To be considered for this role, you must have experience of working within a Building Services Company (ideally a Design & Build Contractor) and be used to working on projects up to a value of £5 Million. The design aspect of this role is quite simple, in the sense that you will be mocking up a design for estimating purposes. Furthermore, if you have experience of using industry specific software such as Hevacomp, that would be looked upon favourably.
