thefutureworks are currently recruiting for cleaners to work at Coventry University on a temporary, part time basis, Monday - Friday 09:00 - 13:00. You will be expected to work individually or as part of a team to prioritise and clean to Group standards across all properties as required by the service. To undertake daily cleaning routines as well as deep cleaning as required. Main duties and responsibilities Undertake the full range of cleaning duties as directed on a day-to-day basis. Ensure quality of work meets hygiene, infection control, health and safety and Group standards. Use the full range of cleaning equipment provided including electrically operated machinery as instructed and trained. Clean all types of surfaces, fixtures and fittings using appropriate methods, and equipment and materials supplied by the Group. Empty bins and remove general waste and recycling to collection points or correct external containers as advised. Report any defects with equipment and stores requirements to the Cleaning Coordinator. Report buildings maintenance issues and unsafe methods of working to the Cleaning Coordinator.
