Randstad CPE are currently looking for an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to join a leading Facilities Management company working on a large static site in East Lothian.
The ideal candidate will come from a Facilities Management background with a minimum of 3 years experience on commercial and retail contracts and have previous supervisory experience.
Requirements:
City & Guilds 18th Edition
Minimum 3 years experience within FM
Minimum 3 years maintenance experience within the commercial/ retail sector or PFIs
Strong understanding and awareness of health and safety

I am looking for a Mechanical Maintenance engineer for a role covering a large critical site in London. You’ll be working in a commercial building on a high security contract so the role needs someone adaptable and driven in order to be successful

The role
You will split your time between both PPMs and reactive maintenance across this single site estate in West Kensington. You will be the go to mechanical maintenance engineer on site and will develop in to a lead engineer/supervisor.
What you’ll need
Experience of mechanical maintenance within commercial buildings: AHUs, FCUs, pressurisation units, pumps, motors etc. - you’ll need to have City & Guilds or NVQ in a mechanical discipline
Ideally you will be a Mechanical AP, or be ready to take the accreditation which the company would be prepared to pay for.
Experience in a similar role, and ideally working for an FM provider so you already understand the importance of the SLA agreements in place for the contract
Ideally experience with L8/Legionella awareness
A positive attitude and the desire to progress and succeed
The ability to obtain security clearance is vital as you’ll be working on a high security contract
