Are you a mechanically biased maintenance engineer, looking to work on a high profile static site contract in London? Then this could be the role for you. I am looking for a Mechanical Maintenance engineer for a role covering a large critical site in London. You’ll be working in a commercial building on a high security contract so the role needs someone adaptable and driven in order to be successful What’s in it for you? An opportunity to work for a fast becoming big player in the FM industry - they’re winning and retaining lots of contracts. Recently lots of new staff have been taken on and are genuinely enjoying working for a company who offer internal progression and stability in contracts. Plenty of opportunities for training and progression - with the company willing to pay for relevant training Salary of £35-38k per annum, plus overtime which is paid at time and a half for the first four hours and double time after this. Regular working hours - Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm 1 in 6 callout The role You will split your time between both PPMs and reactive maintenance across this single site estate in West Kensington. You will be the go to mechanical maintenance engineer on site and will develop in to a lead engineer/supervisor. What you’ll need Experience of mechanical maintenance within commercial buildings: AHUs, FCUs, pressurisation units, pumps, motors etc. - you’ll need to have City & Guilds or NVQ in a mechanical discipline Ideally you will be a Mechanical AP, or be ready to take the accreditation which the company would be prepared to pay for. Experience in a similar role, and ideally working for an FM provider so you already understand the importance of the SLA agreements in place for the contract Ideally experience with L8/Legionella awareness A positive attitude and the desire to progress and succeed The ability to obtain security clearance is vital as you’ll be working on a high security contract Interviews will one stage, and are being held in East London week commencing 6th July.
