Your new company Due to increased scope of works, a rapidly expanding U.K based Civils Contractor is now recruiting for a Junior/ Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Team in Omagh. With over 40 years' experience, this contractor has completed works across the U.K in multiple sectors including Major Infrastructure, Roadworks, Quarrying, Industrial & Commercial Developments. They are now keen to expand into the Northern Irish market and establish themselves locally. Your new role Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will join the Projects Team based in Omagh. You will operate across a range of projects including major and minor Civils works and Commercial Developments. You will be primarily office based in Omagh with site visits to the U.K as required. You will work alongside the Commercial and Project teams ensuring contractual control, preparation of budgets, cost and value management reporting, procurement and assisting in the preparation of valuations and variations. What you'll need to succeed You will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying with at least 1 years' experience in a similar role. You will ideally have some knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract. You will have the ability to work under pressure with good communication skills and be keen to establish yourself within a Main Civils Contractor.
