Repairs & Maintenance Manager Location: Morden, South London Rate: £450-£500 per day DOE Contract: 3-6 Months Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Repairs & Maintenance Manager to join a London Local Authority on an interim basis. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, Maintenance and Facilities Management, you will lead the delivery of responsive and planned maintenance services across a diverse corporate property portfolio. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining operational buildings, managing a team of maintenance professionals, overseeing contracts worth up to £3 million, and ensuring property assets remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of responsive maintenance services across the council's property portfolio. Manage a 24-hour emergency call-out service and ensure building-related issues are addressed effectively. Develop long-term maintenance strategies, planned works programmes and lifecycle investment plans. Oversee building condition surveys, stock condition data and asset inspections.
