Senior Project Manager - mechanical services required to join a healthcare specialist mechanical services contractor for London based projects.
This is permanent role and suitable for a candidate living in London or the surrounding commutable area.
The mechanical services contractor have a successful 25 year history of delivering design and build mechanical services installation projects covering heating, ventilation, air conditioning and chilled water solutions specifically for hospitals and private medical settings such as Harley Street. Projects often entail re-modelling and fit out of newly constructed buildings for purposes such as surgical and treatment rooms.
Due to an imminent £3m 18 month project in Central London we are searching for a Project Manager with appropriate experience delivering mechanical projects in healthcare settings such as NHS or private hospitals.
Installs are of a specialist nature in live environments.
Responsibilities
Site based
Head up a multi-disciplined Mechanical Services Installation Team
Work closely alongside a Principal Contractor
Manage the design team
Develop an installation program
Requirements
Healthcare projects experience - private and NHS (alternatively a high end retail fit out background could be considered)
Permanent employment background
Commutable to central London daily and long term
Package
An attractive salary commensurate with experience and in the region of £70K
25 days holiday and company pension

Complete monthly QA Inspections and reports.
Assist in development of project QA , IST and CTQ plans when required.
Reporting back QA issues to M&E Quality Manager and Group Quality Manager.
Carry out training and/or presentations on QMS for regional projects to Company Procedures and current legislation.
Essential Qualifications and Experience to successfully deliver role
Electrical Senior Trade or Engineering Qualification (Degree or Diploma)
Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear Trained (Cert/Qualification)
Previous Handover/Factory Acceptance Testing & Equipment Walkdown Experience
Technical knowledge and experience on Medium Voltage Switchgear (MV), systems and associated equipment.
Technical knowledge and experience of Low Voltage Switchgear (LV) , systems and associated equipment and awareness of Civil Standards –ET101 and Eurocodes.
Good knowledge of I&C installations
Ability to carry out QA Audits and follow up reports on Projects
Computer literate. Excellent Microsoft Office and communication skills. Knowledge of various software platforms.
Previous experience of quality Management Systems e.g. ISO 9001, Q-Mark etc
