The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager our Electricians complete electrical installations on water and wastewater plants and equipment. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of working with an electrical contractor and working on site installations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The main duties and responsibilities of Electricians are outlined as follows:
* Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any one time, embracing the ethos of “one team” culture.
* Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to on-site.
* Review of design stage electrical drawings and P&ID in order to validate designs, familiarise with project and spot issues before they arise. Provide input and feedback on design in order to improve the installation efficiency and the quality of the finished installation.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager our Electricians complete electrical installations on water and wastewater plants and equipment. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of working with an electrical contractor and working on site installations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The main duties and responsibilities of Electricians are outlined as follows:
* Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any one time, embracing the ethos of “one team” culture.
* Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to on-site.
* Review of design stage electrical drawings and P&ID in order to validate designs, familiarise with project and spot issues before they arise. Provide input and feedback on design in order to improve the installation efficiency and the quality of the finished installation.
* Complete machine and skid assemblies as required at our workshop .
* Complete site installations of control panels and systems including offload, placement, securing and electrical installation.
* Complete system cable installations including containment installation, cable pulling, instrument installations and terminations. Adhere to ATEX installation regulations as required.
* Source power supplies on existing sites ensuring upstream systems are not overloaded and install protection systems on new supplies to ensure safe isolation.
* Complete system testing in the form of megger testing, loop impedance testing and continuity checks.
* Conduct power-up of MCC’s and complete rotation checks on 3-Phase motors and point to point checks on Inputs/Outputs.
* Complete Health & Safety checks and permits as required for work activities being undertaken.
* Troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation, strip-down and repair equipment as necessary to ensure good working order.
* Conduct periodic inspections and preventative maintenance on system installations.
* Complete all test documentation and inspection and test plans (ITPs) and issue back to Project Manager.

My client, a medium sized building contractor are currently recruiting for a HSQE Manager on a part time contract basis to work on construction schemes, predominately Residential projects.
