Overall Purpose of a Project Manager:

* Be fully responsible for the daily operations of the project delivery team
* Accurate and regular reporting of project performance
* Attend and report on meetings throughout the project(s)
* Procure subcontract labour, materials and ancillary items where necessary.

* Site surveys and inspections to be undertaken as required
* Flexible travel to and from sites across UK is required
Skills & experience:
Minimum 5 years construction project management
Minimum 3 years commercial solar PV senior manager site experience
Relevant solar PV experience in project management and operations of both roof and ground mounted solar PV systems.
Experience with all network operators and familiar with G99 from application to commissioning.
Degree level in electrotechnical engineering
City and guilds design, testing and installation of commercial solar systems.
Manufacturer Qualifications for inverter and monitoring equipment
18th Edition Electrical Regulations Qualification
NVQ or City & Guilds in electrical installation would be advantageous
Ability to read and understand electrical designs from specifications and surveys
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
Must understand site H&S and CDM requirements and demonstrate understanding of current Legislation & regulations
Experience in groundworks would be advantageous
Central Inverter and HV experience would be advantageous
ECS card or CSCS
Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential
Qualified 5-day first aider
Driving Licence

They now have the need for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the company and cover the Bristol and surrounding areas, working on between 10 - 100 new and refurbished housing projects
You will have at least 2-years’ experience within a Contract Management role who is confident in the management of Engineers and have come from a background of new build, refurbished or domestic housing. You will also need to have valid gas qualifications including (CCN1 or CENWAT1 or CKR1 or HTR1 or CPA1)
If you have estimating experience, then that would be advantageous.
In return our client is offering a salary between £40K- £45K base salary (depending on experience) + company vehicle + bonus
