Bridge engineer needed for a contract position initially working from home My client is a design consultancy within the rail sector and are looking for civil/ structural engineer who has good experience with bridge design As the Bridge Engineer you would participate within a team of Rail Structures and Civil Engineers to undertake civil and structural task which would be principally focused around Rail bridges as well as platforms, culverts and lineside structures The candidate will need to have experience from consultancy background and is experienced in either Highways or Rail related bridge design projects, so therefore conversant in structural analysis, design and modelling software. This job will be working from home and laptop will be provided, the office is based in Sheffield and you will be expected to work from the office when it fully reopens however the company are not planning to do this until at least September Requirements - Experience of the Eurocodes - To have experience working on detailed design stages for either rail or highway bridge schemes - Experience working on Network Rail bridge design schemes as well as lineside civils and structures To be proficient in structural analysis and design software in relation to bridges such as Midas, Superstress or similar
