As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the management and supervision of construction projects. You will ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client requirements, project programmes, and company standards. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will coordinate site teams, manage resources, and liaise with all key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. Monitor project costs, margins, and resources in collaboration with Quantity Surveyors. Review designs and identify value engineering opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Prepare and manage site documentation, including reports, drawings, schedules, and lookahead programmes. Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations and programme adherence. Record and communicate site instructions, updates, and issues effectively. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and company policies. Maintain quality control in line with QEMS procedures and proactively resolve issues. Anticipate risks and challenges, implementing solutions to maintain progress. Support contract processes, permits, and project close-out, including snagging and defects using Audit Brick. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. Note: Responsibilities may evolve in line with business needs. Continuous Improvement & Leadership Identify challenges and implement innovative solutions to improve project delivery. Contribute to the development and improvement of QEMS procedures. Technical Lead - Building Regulations Location: North East (Flexible / Hybrid Working Available) Sector: Building Regulations Technical Assurance Construction Built Environment Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Building Regulations to provide technical leadership, regulatory guidance and assurance across a range of building projects. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methodology, building materials, occupancy requirements and compliance processes. You will be responsible for reviewing technical information, providing expert advice and ensuring projects meet statutory and regulatory requirements. This role offers flexible working arrangements and would suit an experienced technical professional from a background in building control, construction, engineering, surveying, compliance or technical assurance . Key Responsibilities Act as a technical lead providing expert guidance on Building Regulations compliance and construction standards. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, reports and supporting documentation. Assess building types, occupancy classifications and proposed uses to determine regulatory requirements.
