Site Agent - Water Mains Renewals Thames Water Framework Reading Freelance (until June / July 2027) £325 - £375 per day DOE We are recruiting on behalf of a growing civil engineering and utilities contractor for an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of a major water mains renewal programme in Reading. Our client delivers civil engineering and utility infrastructure projects across the water, wastewater, highways, structures, energy and industrial sectors and continues to secure long-term framework work throughout the UK. The Role This is a hands-on Site Agent position responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities and operational delivery across live water infrastructure works. You will be responsible for: Managing site operations across water mains renewal projects. Health & Safety compliance and site leadership. Quality management, inspections and compliance processes. Resource planning and programme management. Coordinating direct labour, subcontractors and supply chain partners. Liaising with M Group site teams and relevant project stakeholders. Supporting the commercial team with CVRs, programme reporting and change management. Managing permits, records and contractual documentation. Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. Maintaining strong relationships with client representatives and project stakeholders. About You You will already be operating at Site Agent level within water, utilities or civil engineering environments and will be comfortable managing live infrastructure projects.
