Key requirements of the role.
Understanding the client's needs and expectations.
Reading drawings and complete details measurements for lump sum tenders.
Obtaining quotes for all scope requirements from sub-contractors and suppliers
Collating detailed price lists of everything needed on each tender.
Calculating the cost of materials, labour and prelims for tendered scope.
Compiling tender submissions and issuing to potential clients within a timely manner.
Presenting bids to clients and answering their mid and post tender queries.
Making use of relevant computer software such as Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Viewer
Keeping up to date with inflation, exchange rates and projected timescale costs.
Attending meetings and site visits with potential clients.
Building and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
Liaising with others team members including construction managers, planners and design teams to ensure tenders are compliant with client and main contractor requirements.
