A reputable and well-established Passive Fire Protection contractor with a strong presence across South London and the surrounding areas is looking for an experienced Firestopper to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work across a variety of projects across residential, and commercial sectors delivering high-quality passive fire protection solutions and ensuring works are completed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Complete firestopping installations across multiple sites throughout South London Install passive fire protection systems including penetration seals, fire barriers, cavity barriers, and associated works Ensure all installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and compliance requirements Interpret drawings, specifications, and installation details accurately Work alongside site teams, supervisors, and project managers to deliver quality-focused results Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, workmanship, and attention to detail Requirements: Previous experience working as a Firestopper / Passive Fire Protection Installer Strong understanding of passive fire protection systems and installation methods Experience working on residential and/or commercial projects Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team High standards of workmanship and a commitment to quality Relevant passive fire qualifications or manufacturer training would be beneficial Package & Benefits: Salary: 38,000 - 44,000 (depending on experience) Company vehicle Fuel card Pension contributions Annual leave entitlement Permanent position with a financially stable contractor Opportunities for career progression and development Regular opportunities for promotions, pay reviews, and increased responsibility This role is suited to someone looking for a long-term career opportunity with a contractor where you can develop your skills, progress through the business, and build a successful future within passive fire protection.
