Job Title: Multi-skilled Engineer Location: London/Barbican Hourly Rate: 21-22 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday Job Overview: RG Set Square are looking for a Multi-skilled Engineer for our client in the EC2 postcode, this is a long term Temp role. Reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisor on-site, you will be responsible for carrying out remedial works and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within the site premises. Your role will ensure that all technical work is completed to a high standard, in compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, Gas Safe Regulations, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Conducting remedial works and PPMs across the site. Ensuring all technical work adheres to company policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards. Performing maintenance and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, and other building installations. Modifying, maintaining, and repairing all relevant systems and appliances. Preparing technical reports and certifications as needed. Liaising with management and the client regarding works, schedules, and issues. Responding to customer requests for support and advice, providing effective resolutions or referring to the appropriate team. What We're Looking For: Right to work in the UK. 18th Edition Electrical qualification. Strong knowledge and experience with Mechanical Services, Fire Alarm Systems, BMS (Trend), and LV systems. Proven ability to analyse and resolve engineering issues and perform servicing on gas installations. Flexible, adaptable, and customer-focused with a positive, "can-do" attitude. Honest, with a high level of integrity in all work-related activities. Ability to provide training and ongoing support to apprentices and trainees. Experienced in the operation, maintenance, and interrogation of related systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships. Ability to resolve customer queries and concerns effectively and promptly. Strong written skills (including spelling, grammar, and report writing). Proficiency in computer use, including spreadsheets (Excel), and word processing (Word). Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of 21-22 per hour. Monday to Friday working schedule.
